Position: Industrial Designer III
Location: Bellevue WA
Multiple Positions Available:
the design implementation and delivery of large system designs in ambiguous and complex problem spaces. Their efforts may produce new rework or even deprecate existing engineering. They heavily influence the design and are responsible for a significant portion of critical-path components.
technical influence on builds or implementations across facilities or regions either via a collaborative development effort or by increasing productivity and effectiveness by driving engineering best practices (e.g. safety security availability operational excellence etc.). Influence teams strategy by making insightful contributions to team priorities and engineering approach.
detailed knowledge of the work done at their facility and proactively work to improve consistency and integration between the systems they own and related systems (owned by other teams).
to communicate ideas effectively to achieve the right outcomes. Collaborate and accept suggestions to move the best plan forward; harmonize discordant views and lead the resolution of contentious issues (build consensus).
participate in the hiring process and mentor others - improving their skills their knowledge of tools systems and processes and their ability to get things done.
and coordinate detailed inputs to system simulation for optimal equipment selection material flow process design ergonomics associate experience operational considerations and site layout.
basic to highly advanced models and run what-if scenarios to help drive to optimal solutions
closely with internal teams to ensure that every detail is thought through and documented using Standard Operating Procedures and/or structured change control.
closely with vendors suppliers and other teams to come up with innovative solutions.
post-mortem on system simulation results after implementation of new designs in partnering with Safety and Operations
travel up to 20% to perform role responsibilities may be required
A Masters degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering Statistics Operations Business Administration or related field and 2 years of experience in job offered or in related occupation in engineering design. Alternatively Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering Statistics Operations Business Administration or related field followed by 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in related occupation in engineering design specialty.
Experience must include:
(1)2 years of experience in ownership/management of engineering design projects.
(2)2 years of experience in using business/technical software including MS Excel MS Project or CAD software.
(3)2years of experience in complex automated material handling equipment packaging technologies robotics and/or high-speed manufacturing.
(4)2 years of experience in process design based on Lean Principles.
2 years of experience in engineering concepts including system architecture optimization system dynamics system analysis statistical analysis reliability analysis or decision making.

The pay range for this position in Bellevue WA is $136427-$178800 (yr); however base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits dependent on the position offered.
