Senior React Native Developer
As a Senior React Native Developer you will play a key role in building maintaining and optimizing our customer-facing mobile app using React Native and Expo. Youll collaborate with product managers designers and backend engineers to deliver seamless high-performing experiences that inspire and delight Mejuris customers around the world. Youll also help mentor and guide junior developers driving best practices and elevating the overall quality of our mobile engineering.
What youll do
- Lead the development of new features in our React Native Expo mobile app with a focus on performance scalability and exceptional user experience.
- Collaborate with design product and backend teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Write clean maintainable and testable code with a focus on reliability and scalability.
- Implement and advocate for mobile best practices including Expo workflows CI/CD testing and performance optimization.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to peer reviews technical discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Stay current with industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in mobile Expo and e-commerce
What youll bring to the team
- 5 years of professional experience in mobile development with at least 3 years of React Native experience.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and deep understanding of React Native architecture.
- Hands-on experience withExpo including managed workflow EAS Build OTA updates and deep linking.
- Experience with native iOS and/or Android development (Swift/Objective-C or Kotlin/Java) is a plus.
- Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux MobX Zustand or Recoil).
- Experience integrating REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Strong understanding of mobile performance optimization profiling and debugging.
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps (including Expo EAS).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A passion for building exceptional user experiences that align with Mejuris mission to redefine luxury.
- Bonus:Experience working withShopifyor building mobile experiences on top of a Shopify-backed e-commerce stack.

This position requires in office work 3 days a week and remote work 2 days a week. Our office is located at 60 Bloor Street W Toronto.
