Position Summary / Career Interest:

The University of Kansas Health System Department of Internal Medicine is seeking a full-time Internal Medicine physician to serve as a faculty member within the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Olathe Hospital. This position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care while also engaging in teaching mentoring and scholarly activities that support the departments academic mission.

Job Duties:

• Provide medical care for Internal Medicine patients

• Serve in a clinician educator role with responsibility for teaching Internal Medicine residents and medical students in clinical settings

• Participate in regular educational and administrative conferences including participation on subcommittees relevant to area of practice or education

• Contribute to various educational and clinical initiatives related to specific areas of interest and expertise

Required Qualifications:

• MD DO orequivalent

• Board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated interest or experience in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents.
