Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Sydney team at our St Leonards office. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects including state significant transport infrastructure tunnels and dams across Australia.
As part of our team you will work alongside industry leaders and enjoy a dynamic mix of technical delivery project management leadership and client-facing problem solving. You will play a key role in delivering milestone projects and shaping the future of infrastructure in NSW and across Australia.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead medium to large-scale geotechnical projects across Sydney and New South Wales with opportunities to contribute to national and international initiatives.
- Analyse and interpret geotechnical data to develop practical commercially viable solutions.
- Undertake or oversee geotechnical assessments in areas such as tunnels dams slope stability remediation footings foundation treatments and ground retention systems.
- Prepare and review technical proposals and reports to ensure high-quality project documentation.
- Engage with clients throughout the pursuit tendering and delivery phases of projects while also supporting business development activities.
- Provide leadership and technical mentoring to junior engineers fostering team capability and professional growth.
What you will bring to the team:
- Relevant qualifications in geotechnical engineering with post-graduate study advantageous.
- At least 7 years experience in geotechnical consulting and infrastructure projects.
- Strong skills in investigation interpretation design and delivery of geotechnical solutions.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor teams prioritise tasks and manage projects independently.
- Excellent client collaboration project management and analytical skills using standard industry methods.
