Location Address: 75 Beekman Street Plattsburgh New York

Regular

Department: CVPH - Skilled Nursing Facility

Regular Scheduled Special

Standard Hours: 12

Biweekly Scheduled Hours: 24

Shift: Night

Primary Shift: 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Weekend Needs: Every Other

Salary Range: Min $22.72 Mid $27.83 Max $32.94

GENERAL SUMMARY:The Certified Nurse Aide provides direct care to patients and Residentss to include patient hygiene and activities of daily living under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. The Certified Nurse Aide performs those direct care activities that are allowed to be delegated to unlicensed personnel under the NYS Practice Act regulations hospital policies New York State Long Term Care Regulations and standards met by Nursing Services. The Certified Nurse Aide also performs support functions for the unit/department as assigned by the appropriate Registered Nurse and/or :1. High school graduate or equivalent work experience including ability to read write and comprehend medical terminology and/or Previous experience as a nurse aide or have satisfactorily completed a nurse aide training program or are enrolled in a RN program and have satisfactorily completed nursing fundamentals course work and some hospital clinical work. 2. Have current New York State certified nurse aide certification. 3. Meets requirements of pre-employment screening and physical.

This is a bargaining union position.
