Job Description

This is an individual contributor role responsible for packaging finished burners and/or components for shipment to the end user.Job Duties:
- Responsible for performing packaging functions utilizing both packaging machine equipment as well as hand packaging.
- Duties may also include filling marking wrapping banding utilizing foam and packing containers with products and/or materials.
- Replenish packaging machines with materials as needed.
- Identifying equipment malfunctions and repair needs and may make minor repairs.
- Resolving packaging issues as needed.
- Continuously monitor quality of products coming to and leaving from packaging stations.
- Assist in maintaining packaging equipment and supplies including 5S standards.
- Notify group leader or applicable member of management if packaging issues arise.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by complying with procedures rules and regulations
- Document actions by completing necessary computer and paperwork.
- Contribute to a team effort by accomplishing any additional tasks given to them.
- Perform other duties as required.
Physical Abilities/Working Conditions:
- Normal work week is 40 hours; 7am to 3:30pm Monday thru Friday
- Overtime may be required when necessary
- Regularly lift and/or move products that weigh up to 40 pounds
- Must be able to stand walk stoop bend for period of time during an 8 hour shift
- Job will consist of some bending and twisting
