Salary/Wage:

$43888 - $45000/yr (DOE)

Job Summary/Description:

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of weather experience and be able to handle a 2-hour newscast. We have all the tools you need to tackle our challenging weather patterns from severe weather outbreaks to tornadoes to the rare high-impact winter events. Our five-person team works with the IBM MAX system paired with a local network of HD cameras to provide the best weather coverage in the market.

The candidate must be able to create team moments handle First Alert Weather Days and give a warm presence to the audience. Responsibilities will be to communicate with the Weather team the Assignment Manager and the Assistant News Director to anchor a fast-paced smoothly sequenced and accurate forecast daily.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- A Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology is recommended.
- Youll gain valuable experience and be able to showcase your knowledge by covering a variety of weather while growing in your career and learning from our top team of experienced meteorologists.
