About The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for agriculture to step into a trainee leadership role. The position will support daily farm operations and involve on-the-job learning across key responsibilities including safety machinery operation team coordination and administrative processes.
Reporting directly to the Bundaberg Area Manager and General Manager some of your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the coordination and prioritisation of farm tasks
- Supporting day-to-day operations while learning to supervise field staff
- Participating in safe operation of agricultural machinery and equipment
- Learning how to complete and manage company and safety paperwork
- Identifying and reporting potential improvements across farm operations
- Taking part in machinery servicing inductions and manual labour as required
- Developing communication skills to liaise effectively with supervisors and team members
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A valid drivers licence (mandatory)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine interest in developing a long-term career in agriculture
- Excellent observational skills and an approachable team-oriented nature
- A proactive hands-on attitude and eagerness to grow into a leadership role
- Solid experience in farm operations and a desire to take the next step into farm supervision
This role is ideally suited to someone with proven experience in agriculture who is ready to take ownership of a team and site operations for the first time.
