JOB POSTINGPOSITION/TITLE:Floating Sub TutorPROGRAM/LOCATION:All North River Collaborative Learning Center and SAILS Program Locations as Determined by Need (Pembroke West Bridgewater Bridgewater Easton)START DATE:July 7 2025LENGTH OF POSITION:Eleven month schedule full school-year (183 days) and summer program (six weeks).SALARY SCHEDULE:Tutor ScheduleQUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalent required Bachelors degree preferredSchool-based or pediatric experience in the principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis preferredREPORTS TO:Learning Center Program CoordinatorEVALUATION:Staff evaluation will be implemented as outlined in the North River Collaborative Personnel Policies and Procedures RESPONSIBILITIES:INSTRUCTIONAL/DIRECT SERVICEProvide support for individual students or small groups of students to reinforce skills. Work as a member of a team with other program staff to provide a consistent program for students in the absence of a staff staff in devising special strategies for reinforcing materials or skills based on a sympathetic understanding of individual students their needs interests and the planning preparation and implementation of daily academic vocational and life skills to maintain an environment to facilitate learning experiences for the responsibility for scheduled activities and implementation when a teacher is not behavior management programs for students as crisis intervention when AND TRAININGAttend and participate in in-service training programs and staff development meetings as specific teaching strategies or skills for instructing individual students when EVALUATION AND COMMUNICATIONAssist staff in maintaining student attendance records and other data as by program hours and other policies as outlined in the North River Collaborative Personnel Policies and Procedures AND SAFETYRespond to the needs of individual students so as to enhance their social/emotional health and personal to situations in a culturally proficient manner taking into account a whole student training is able to apply de-escalation strategies if necessary to prevent a student from harming themselves or to safely lift students up to 50 lbs independently and assist in lifting students up to 100 to physically assist students during activities such as: toileting personal hygiene in/out of adaptive equipment and mechanical lifts and other self-care tasks as to move with reasonable speed and physically assist students during any emergency drills or actual to safely and effectively participate in restraint training and to safely perform physical escort and restraints as needed once to safely and effectively participate in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training if requested and to safely perform CPR as needed once a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students.
