Description
Job Title: Loadout Operator
Reports To: Loadout Supervisor
Location: New Mexico North Plant
OVERVIEW
A Loadout Operator is responsible for loading finished quality products into rail cars and customer bulk trucks scheduled during the daily operating schedule. This position requires efficient communication skills attention to detail on load orders and ability to operate large equipment and machinery.
JOB DUTIES
- Operate monitor and troubleshoot equipment associated with the loadout and unloading process including but not limited to: front-end loader truck scales rail scales skid loaders transloader and track mobile
- Inspect truck trailers and railcars prior to loading to ensure they are clean and free of containments
- Determine if load numbers and bill of ladings (BOL) are accurate and contact appropriate personnel for loadout authorization
- Perform pre-shift inspections as well as preventative maintenance and equipment clean up to ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently
- Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum one (1) year loadout general labor and/or industrial or plant experience
- Valid Drivers License

SCHEDULE AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
8 hour workday 5 days a week at minimum with a weekly rotating shift schedule. Schedule subject to change.
- Outdoors in a non-temperature controlled environment and subject to weather conditions
- Exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels
Employees are required to wear safety attire and personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Job physical requirements include: standing walking sitting talking or hearing making visual inspections making precise hand and finger movements twisting stooping crouching kneeling reaching or grasping. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and push and/or pull up to 50 lbs. Must be able to climb stairs and/or ladders and potentially work at heights perceive color differences. Will be required to wear personal protective equipment as needed and engage in strenuous physical activity.
A pre-placement physical and hair follicle drug test will be required for anyone selected for this opportunity. Placement into the position will not be made until the results are received and cleared by Intrepid.
