Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- The technologist is primarily responsible for performing mammography studies
- The technologist maintains a high standard of medical ethics at all times and is self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of the field disease and new procedures as they evolve
- Position patients for appropriate procedures using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
- Assist physicians with interventional imaging procedures starting IVs and injecting contrast if applicable
- Will rotate between different campuses within Brazos Valley
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience:
- AAS - Completion of an accredited Radiology Program
- Two (2) years of imaging experience
Require Licensure & Certification:
- RTR - Registered Radiography Technologist
- RTM - Registered Mammography Tech
- BLS - Within 14 days of hire
- MRAD:TX
