Overview:

The hiring requirement is for Senior Lead Engineer in Digital & Transform team in Advanced Structures with expertise in AI ML and LLM to contribute to NPIs sustenance and technology development activities by designing developing and optimizing advanced machine learning models and algorithms. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions enhance system performance and drive innovation in aerospace technology development.

Education and mandatory skill requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical / Aerospace / Computer Science / Data Science / Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning or a related field with 6 to 9 years of experience in a customer facing role.
• Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models preferably with applications in aerospace defense or related high reliability industries.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow PyTorch scikit-learn.
• Experience with time-series analysis anomaly detection and predictive modeling.
• Experience with data preprocessing feature engineering and model evaluation techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and containerization (Docker Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred skill requirements:

• Familiarity with aerospace standards (e.g. DO-178C ARP4754) and safety critical software development is a plus.
• Background in deep learning NLP computer vision or reinforcement learning.
• Experience with MLOps and model deployment pipelines.

Other requirements:

• Ability to define project scope objectives and timelines.
• Good in preparing clear and concise presentations and reports on project progress findings and results to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
