Job Description
We are looking for an accomplished data science and analytics leader who has experience leading a team of individual contributors with a diverse range of skills spanning product analytics exploratory analyses experimentation modeled causal inference and reporting. Across all methods and skills the overarching goal is always to improve decision-making for iCloud through the use of data.
- 3 years in a leadership role for a data science team.
- 8 years in a data science or analytics organization.
- Experience in B2B you understand how to build products for organizations and how they differ from consumer products.
- You have a high tolerance for ambiguity. You find a way through. You anticipate. You connect and synthesize.
- You have excellent verbal and written communications skills and experience communicating technical concepts to senior executive audiences in order to influence decisions with data.
- You think about data in terms of statistical distributions and have a big enough analytics toolbox (e.g. Statistics Machine Learning) to know how to find patterns in data identify targets for performance and identify sources of variance about those targets.
- You are self-motivated and curious with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities and an innate drive to improve how things work. You have a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- You have excellent verbal and written communications skills and experience in influencing decisions with information.
- Your academic background is in a quantitative field such as Mathematics Statistics Computer Science Engineering Economics Physics and etc.
- 6 years in a leadership role for a data science team.
- You have experience presenting to senior leadership (VP- to C-suite audiences).
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics Statistics Computer Science Engineering Economics Physics etc.
