Structural Integrity Associates Inc. (SIA) has an immediate need for a Senior Network Engineer due to internal promotions and rapid growth. The position will be on-site supporting our offices in Houston Texas reporting to our Director of Information Services (IS).
The Senior Network Engineer supports the infrastructure systems and users through their ownership of the critical information systems infrastructure. They serve as the subject matter expert for the SIA systems and infrastructure. They in line with the Director of IS maintain the configuration scaling and security of the SIA infrastructure backbone. They are solely responsible for ensuring proper documentation processes and procedures for all IS systems within their purview.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Makes uptime cyber security and system availability the highest priority.
Monitors server and application performance.
Ensures proper documentation processes and procedures for systems under their purview.
Maintains the patching and maintenance cycle while communicating with stakeholders.
Acts as the final point of escalation for help desk tickets.
Serves as a global administrator for the MS Office Tenants ensuring proper configuration for business needs.
In conjunction with the Director of Information Systems manages enterprise vendors related to servers and enterprise applications.
Some travel <15% may be required.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science information technology or related technical field.
Extensive professional experience as a systems administrator with responsibility for multiple data locations.
Advanced certifications like CISSP CCNA or Microsoft 365 Azure Admin desired.
Experience with cross-site support and backups SD-WAN database hosting security troubleshooting and issue remediation.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Expert knowledge of enterprise servers and operating system hardening.
