Ingredion Inc. seeks Senior Electrical Engineer in Bedford Park IL
Job Duties: Responsible for providing technical leadership in support of maintenance and operation of the site power distribution systems and to ensure continuous improvement in the system reliability. Develop capital projects and implementation of electrical equipment to support plant operations. Provide technical expertise in support of maintenance and operation of site power distribution systems. Manage and coordinate the execution of the annual high-voltage preventative maintenance program. Monitor key performance variables in the electrical distribution system and coordinate tactical countermeasures to address risks to system reliability and safety. Responsible for managing all site electrical contractors ensuring balance between project and maintenance priorities. Telecommuting is an option. Travel to Ingredions office is required 3 days a week.
Minimum Requirements: Masters degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Engineering (any field) Electronics or closely related quantitative discipline and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.
Special Skill Requirements: 1) circuit design and analysis; (2) High medium and low voltage power systems; (3) control systems design and implementation; (4) network analysis; (5) signal processing techniques; (6) electrical CAD software; (7) knowledge of semiconductor devices; (8) embedded systems development; and (9) programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Any suitable combination of education training and experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Travel to Ingredions office is required 3 days a week.
Salary: $113027 $123500 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
Incentive Compensation:
As a part of the total compensation package this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
