The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal Quebec the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Qubec - Sant (FRQS).
Position summary
Navigate the patients in the context of liquid biopsy collection and processing including patient identification consent taking and initial sample preparation. Perform data entry and review patients chart.
The incumbent is responsible for the review of the clinics patient list in the morning discuss with the staff potential candidates consent the patients collect and process the samples. monitor patient visits for futures sample collection sample preparation for automated instrument processing and record keeping of the results and clinical data.

The candidate is responsible for:
Patient identification
Obtaining consent from patients
Sample processing
Keeping a log of patients and clinical data.
