What youll be doing.
As a member of the NSCCs Environmental and Agricultural Technology Research Lab of the Annapolis Valley campus in Middleton the Student Research Assistant will be responsible for helping Research Associates conduct plant and soil research. This position will involve specifically developing a plant health monitoring system using multispectral sensor technology. The student will determine what multispectral and thermal sensor would be best to monitor plant health in an up close and controlled environment as well as develop protocols for assessing plant health during the plants exposure to various stressors. The position will be all laboratory work and offers hands-on experience in plant science remote sensing and environmental data collection.
