Job Description
SUMMARY
Performs a variety of welding and plumbing tasks in the repair and fabrication of metals plumbing fixtures and related equipment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Four (4) years of plumbing and welding experience.
Completion of a training or apprenticeship program in each field.
Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
Knowledge of Plumbing codes.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
FBI fingerprint background check (at employees expense) or submission of valid Fingerprint card. Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles) or proof of MMR immunization
Post-offer/pre-employment physical examination and lift test
Valid Drivers license (Arizona Drivers Licenserequiredwithin 30 days of hire)
MVReport showing no more than the allowable points against Drivers License as described underGoverning Board Policy: EEB-R-1Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.
Reliable mode of personal transportation with evidence of insurance compliancegreater than or equal to the state required minimum for car insuranceas described underGoverning Board Policy: EEB-R-1Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees
Bloodborne Pathogen training offered by TUSD Risk Management Department.

Effective: 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR
Location:Facilities - Broadway & Kino Parkway Area
Classification: Blue Collar
FTE: 1.0 8 hours per day
Work Calendar: 12 month
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
