The Financial Services Luxury &/Lifestyle Sales Internship is part of the Multi-Media Sales Team of The Wall Street Journal Barrons Group supporting the Financial Services Luxury &/Lifestyle Sales East team. You will gain a basic understanding of all facets of media advertising and learn about our print & digital media sales process. You will get exposure to our sales techniques multi-platform and cross-functional selling.
This role is hybrid based in our New York City office.
Support our strategic Next Market Cycle (NMC) initiatives via research (client earnings reports MediaRadar proprietary studies)
Perform reporting/analysis to increase revenue
Support the sales activities of designated Client Partners
Work with the sales team to develop solutions and partnership concepts and pricing
Prepare and send proposals for presentations to clients
Deliver excellent client support
Provide timely communication and follow-up with clients and internal departments
Help with research for meetings and special projects
Ensure that the sales team has the required sales materials and support information for sales calls and RFP responses
Receive exposure to the entire pre & post sales cycle across all platforms and products and how they are used to meet the needs of our clients
At least two years completed toward a Bachelors in Business Finance or Economics
Strong interest in Finance or Data Science
Familiarity with the Financial Services Sector
Familiarity with Google Sheets Slides and other presentation platforms
Organizational skills and focus on priorities that move the sales process forward
Creative thinking and the ability to match marketers goals with the unique affluent audiences available through our media properties
Salary: $25.00/hour
