Are you a seasoned automation expert who thrives on solving operational challenges with code Were looking for aSenior Automation Developerto architect and implement scalable automation solutions that streamline server maintenance patching restarts and alert resolution. This role blends infrastructure operations with development offering the opportunity to drive efficiency across our systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced fintech environment.
What Youll Do:
- Architect and maintain robust automation frameworks for infrastructure and operational workflows.
- Automate server patching restarts and alert handling usingPowerShell Bash and Python.
- Enhance and integrate automation intoCI/CD pipelinesand development workflows.
- Collaborate with DevOps infrastructure and software engineering teams to identify and implement automation opportunities.
- Troubleshoot and optimize automated solutions to improve performance reliability and scalability.
- Stay current with emerging automation technologies and bring innovative ideas to the team.
Experience youll need to have:
- 6 yearsof experience in automation development usingPython and PowerShell or Bash.
- 5 years of server administration and infrastructure automation.
- 5 years of experience withCI/CD practices system integration and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools ( Grafana Splunk Moogsoft).
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field and/or equivalent military experience.
Experience that would be great to have:
- Experience in scripting languages likeChef or Puppet.
- Experience with tools such asOperations Orchestration Server Automation Ansible and/or Rundeck.
- Experience with patch management automation.
- Background inAgile methodologiesand collaborative development environments.
How youll work:
- This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.

Salary Range
$110000.00 - $186000.00These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
