Finance Manager Queenstown

Are you an experienced finance professional ready to elevate your career in New Zealands adventure capital Mount Cook Alpine Salmon is seeking adynamic Finance Managerto join our Corporate Services team in Queenstown. This is a one-of-a-kind role where you will lead our high-impact project: implementing Business Central.
About us
At Mt Cook Alpine Salmon were passionate about delivering sustainably farmed premium-quality Freshwater King Salmon to discerning customers in New Zealand and around the world. Our product is extraordinary and rare: the way we farm salmon makes up for less than 1% of the total global salmon production.
Our team of over 200 are spread mostly across the South Island at our farms in Twizel our processing plant in Timaru our production facility in Christchurch and our corporate office in Queenstown.
As we continue to grow and evolve were looking for a Finance Manager with a solid accounting background and a proactive solution-oriented mindset.
About the Role
This is a high-impact leadership role where operational excellence meets strategic influence. Your ideas will bring finance at Mount Cook Alpine Salmon to the next level. Reporting to the GM Finance youll be hands-on lead a team of three and manage day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Embrace the exciting change to a new ERP system: Business Central
Make sure the monthly accounts are prepared and the board is informed
Lead three direct reports and develop together
Own the financial pulse: master budgets forecast growth steer cash flow and FX Hedging
Keep the company up to date with taxes and statutory reporting
What Youll Bring
Financial management and leadership experience (3 years desired)
CA or equivalent qualification
Sharp analytical thinking and a focus on solutions
A proactive approach and enthusiasm about collaboration and communication
Experience in a manufacturing environment and working with ERP systems (desirable especially Business Central)
