Job Opportunity: Non-Invasive Cardiologist - Locum to Perm
Join a dedicated team at a leading healthcare facility in Richmond Virginia! We are seeking a Board-Certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist to work in a dynamic practice setting that includes inpatient outpatient and clinic responsibilities. The position offers the opportunity for direct patient care collaboration with fellow physicians and a chance to make a significant impact on community health.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive cardiac care to adult and geriatric patients.
- Conduct various procedures including Electrocardiograms (EKGs).
- Supervise and support 4 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs).
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (1:6 ratio).
- Manage an average of 10 clinic patients and 12-15 inpatient admissions per day.
- Utilize the EPIC documentation system effectively.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Advanced Heart Failure Cardiology with Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) Certification.
- Completion of an AHF Fellowship with LVAD experience.
- Active Virginia medical license.
- Current ACLS certification.
- DEA Certification.
- Local provider preferred; only mileage will be reimbursed.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in Advanced Heart Failure Cardiology - REQUIRED
- ACLS Certification - REQUIRED
- AHF Fellowship with LVAD experience - REQUIRED
- Active Virginia Medical License - REQUIRED
- DEA Registration - REQUIRED
