POSITION OVERVIEW
The Systems Engineer II performs systems design test and analysis in support of product development and manufacturing.
Location: This position requires on-site work at Gentex facilities. This role is not eligible for remote work.
WHAT YOULL DO
- Perform systems design in a cross-functional engineering team to develop and launch new products.
- Create evaluate and implement system architectures including interface definition and description.
- Develop and conduct system test procedures and methods for system verification and validation.
- Utilize analysis and simulation tools to aid in system design and test.
- Conduct cross-functional design reviews.
- Follow Gentex system engineering processes and ensure products meet Gentex quality standards.
- Stay current with technology manufacturing and industry trends to drive continuous improvement of products process and methods.
- Other duties as assigned.

WHAT TO BRING
- Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
- 2 years of relevant engineering work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
WHAT WILL HELP
- Masters degree in Systems Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
- Professional work experience in new product development.
- Professional work experience in Systems Engineering.
