JOB TITLE: Senior Analyst(Multiple Positions)

REPORTS TO: SABG Program Manager
FLSA STATUS: Regular Full-Time Exempt
SUMMARY: SABG is hiring Senior Analysts to support the Army G-8 in multiple divisions. This position is contingent upon contract award.Regular CONUS/OCONUS travel is required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support capability requirements validation through AROC/JROC
- Develop investment strategies and program documentation
- Conduct analyses for doctrine training and sustainment
- Brief senior Army leadership and prepare Congressional testimony
- Coordinate with stakeholders across DoD and industry
- Support TAA FFR and AEMC processes
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree required (Masters preferred)
- 5 years Force Development experience at senior Army levels such as HQDA MACOMs or Army Service Component Commands
- Domain expertise in relevant portfolio area
- Familiarity with Army acquisition and modernization processes
Certifications Desired
- Requirements Management Certification Training (RMCT) Level-A or C
- Must complete within 6 months: HTAR AOIC JCIDS courses
Technical Skills
- Familiarity with Army databases (AE2S-M CAMS cQUIP etc.)
- Microsoft Office suite expertise
- Knowledge of JCIDS DoDI 5000.2 PPBE and AROC processes

- Aviation (FDV): Army aviation programs Acquisition Category (ACAT) II/III management. Requirements: Foundational operational experience in Army aviation units from company to brigade level; familiarity with aviation equipment types; knowledge and skills to manage ACAT II and III programs
- Fires (FDG): Air/missile defense artillery systems CONOPS Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Short Range Air Defense (SHORAD)Requirements: Doctrinal and practical experience with Joint operations BMDS and Space activities; expertise with Army field artillery units and fire support; experience with Joint Theater Air and Missile Defense (JTAMD) Air and Missile Defense (AMD) artillery systems (TS clearance required)
- Focused Logistics (FDL): Sustainment transportation munitions medical systems. Requirements: Operational experience in Army tactical formations/units; familiarity with tactical wheeled vehicles Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles Palletized Load System (PLS)/Heavy Trailers; experience with lethal/non-lethal munitions direct/indirect fire munitions of all calibers as well as missiles and explosives; needs Ordnance/Quartermaster systems knowledge; garrison and field medical systems experience medical doctrine regarding medical evaluation and levels of patient care
- Full Dimension Protection (FDB): Assured Mobility and Force Protection Support. Requirements: tactical and operational experience with the following types of equipment: Engineer (tactical bridging construction mines/munitions counter-explosive hazard support constructions command and control sets/kits/outfits) Military Police (MP) Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (CBRN)
- Intelligence Systems (FDI): Military intelligence experience at tactical operational strategic and national levels Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) electronic warfare (EW) cyber systems. Requirements:Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) electronic warfare cyber systems; familiarity with Army intelligence unit doctrine and procedures; ability to organize working groups to support Strategic Portfolio Analysis Review (SPAR) Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and Army Requirements Oversight Council (AROC); (Must possess TS/SCI clearance)
- Soldier Team & Maneuver (FDD): Operational technical and educational experience in combat combat support combat service support or combined arms formations; expertise with combat vehicles and soldier systems. Requirements:Experience with Crew Served Weapons (50 caliber machine guns medium caliber machine gun multi-roles anti-armor antipersonnel weapon system (MAAWS)) Sniper Rifles Small Arms Machine Gun Optics Tripods Vehicular mounts Lasers (Small Tactical Optical Rifle Mounted (STORM)) Laser Target Locator Module
- DOM Operations (OPS): In-depth understanding of HQDA and the relationships of related organizations components and staff. Strategic analysis decision support programming data analysis Strategic Portfolio Analysis Review (SPAR) support Army Requirements Review Board (AR2B) coordination. Requirements:Experience with Program Objective Memorandum (POM) processes; ability to conduct quality control reviews and develop strategic-level products for senior leadership
- Modernization Integration & Readiness (FDM): Planning Programming Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) processes Doctrine Organization Training Materiel Leadership and Education Personnel Facilities and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) integration Regionally Aligned Readiness and Modernization Model (ReARMM) expertise. Requirements: Experience identifying equipment readiness and root causes of equipment un-readiness proposing solutions where appropriate and trend data analysis; identifying excess equipment and coordinating solutions to address excess; developing and assembling briefing books reviewing assigned policies and regulations to make edits where appropriate; analysis of interoperability of capabilities between levels of modernization conducting reviews and analysis to prepare senior leadership for support of Interoperability Assessment as part of the Strategic Readiness Tenet(s)
- Position Navigation Timing (FDC):Manages the Armys Position Navigation and timing program efforts; Requirements: Operational experience with Mission Command Transport Applications; understanding tactics techniques and procedures associated with Army command control and communications systems; responsible for familiarity with mounted/dismounted and Alternative Navigation technologies and software. TS/SCI clearance required.
- Cyber (FDC): Manages the Armys cyber program efforts including Defensive Cyber operations technologies and software. Requirements:Operational experience with Mission Command Transport Applications; understanding of CYBER operations/capabilities. TS/SCI clearance required.
- Resource Documentation (FDP): Drafts documentation (information papers decision papers Directors notes executive summaries briefings) for various stakeholders. Requirements:Experience assessing data collection files in Army Equipping Enterprise System (AE2S); coordinating with ASA (FMC) ASA (ALT) and the Army DCS G-8 AOs; performing quality control using AE2S reporting tools; using MS Excel and manual data collection; maintaining an accessible electronic file folder system for transparency and other documents; conducting cross-functional assessments making recommendations and developing/conducting training for data collection processes
- Program and Priorities (FDR): Responsible for assessing civilian authorizations requirements costing and FTE. Requirements:knowledge of Army fiscal data elements and the ability to conduct analyses for briefings; conducting analyses at various levels of manpower staffing tends and affordability across multiple years using Army databases; conducting cost assessments on the behalf of command MDEP APE APPN and ROC to identify shortfalls caused by affordability Schedule 8 manpower adjustments and investment changes; reviewing Command Initiated Change Packages (CICPs); drafting the annual EE PEG Manpower Reviews including timeline briefing order and listing of attendees; conducting EE PEG Resource analysis by Portfolio Key5 and Root level; assessing Commanders Program Assessment (CPA) submissions; extracting analyzing and displaying data using Army systems such as cPROBE COMP/Quantity COI cQUIP Congressional Budget Justification Documents FMS WEB Program Review data and AE2S-M
- Army Requirements Integration and Assessments (FDJ): Responsible for providing options based on ACIDS/JCIDS standards and analyses regarding warfighter capability requirements force modernization and rapid prototyping/fielding; providing assessments on the results of implementation of changes to those methods and policies; coordinating/developing/integrating options based on JCIDS/CCIDS/ACIDS standards. Requirements:Experience with analyzing the establishment and revision of Army policies IAW AR 71-9 Warfighting Capabilities Determination; experience providing recommendations for the requirements determination process and other processes affecting the delivery of materiel capabilities; providing analysis and options for future materiel requirements including validation of Army and Joint documents; staffing and coordinating requirements products; managing and integrating information in KMDS/CAMs for assigned portfolios. TS to/SCI clearance required.
SUPERVISION:This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
