Job Description

Must be available to work weekends
The Host/Hostess is responsibilities include greeting guests providing accurate wait times and escorting customers to the dining and bar areas.
Required:
- Responsible for seating of residents in the dining room and satisfactorily handling situations as they arise.
- Responsible for creating an enjoyable dining experiences for residents and guests.
- Supervises the activities of service persons in the dining room to ensure proper service and sanitation procedures are followed.
- Assists in training of new service team members under the direction of the Team Leader.
- Responsible for supervising the closing of the main dining room and checking the servers to be sure their side work and station setup is properly completed.
- Promotes clean safe and neat environment for residents self and staff.
- Demonstrates knowledge of fire safety procedures and assists with evacuation of residents to a safe location in the event of fire or other emergency.
- Maintains confidentiality of residents personal and medical record information.
- Cooperates with staff of other departments in performing job duties.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
