Job Description
Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is a K-8 district. We share the yard with the high school bus service. We transport 2500 home to school mid-day and therapy runs. The fleet consists of over 30 buses 2 cars and 3 van routes. We encompass the town of Fallbrook and two schools on the Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base.
- Drives a school bus or transportation vehicle over an assigned route in accordance with a time schedule.
- Boards and discharges student passengers.
- Transports students staff and chaperones on field trips athletic activities and other special trips.
- Enforces District Policies and procedures related to transportation and maintains discipline on buses.

- WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 4 hours/day 5 days/week Work hours will vary
- BENEFITS: Benefit package includes Health and Welfare paid sick leave vacation and holidays (currently observing 14 paid holidays a year).
- REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING:Equivalent to the completionof the twelfth grade; a work history demonstrating dependability and reliability; good driving record; or any combination of training and experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities; and the ability to qualifyfor District vehicle insurance.
- REQUIRED LICENSE/CERTIFICATE: Possession of a valid California Drivers License Class B; California School Bus Drivers Certificate current Medical Certificate (MEC) DMV Printout (Current H-6)
