As a Senior Materials Manager you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the product line asset utilization and inventory levels. Also you will manage the asset and inventory management team including employee training development and career progression.
As a Senior Materials Manager you will be responsible for:
Creating and implementing PL inventory and asset utilization strategies that are aligned to the OFSE HQ materials management strategies.
Managing master planning material processes and systems. Preparing/updating production schedules and purchasing needs.
Ensuring operational alignment with production plan and KPIs. Establishing the planning and delivery processes.
Ensuring planning and delivery processes are being implemented correctly and aligned to the Center Of Excellence governance.
Working with sales/operations team to convert the demand plan into physical orders. Working with region Sales/Service Delivery to prioritize deliver dates.
Prioritizing the orders to meet the business goals. Executing the product line order strategies (allocations) relative to regions and manufacturing plants.
Providing overall planning and delivery guidance for orders. Managing communication between the Product Line/ Sales/Service Delivery with respect to order dates.
Managing the materials planning and delivery team including employee training development and career progression.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a Bachelor in Supply Chain Management and over 8 years equivalent experience
Have solid experience in order management inventory optimization and management asset utilization and management
Display Deep knowledge of SAP and MRP functionality
Show ability to work with and influence stakeholders
Display strategic thinking with tactical execution with a sense of urgency
Be a good communicator and be fluent in both English and Chinese
Have excellent experience managing and developing teams
Have APICS is an advantage
