Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Internet Specialist to join our team at Mercedes-Benz of Austin. The Internet specialist will be responsible for handling internet leads inbound/outbound calls and appointment scheduling to ensure a world-class customer experience. This position plays a critical role in bridging the gap between online inquiries and in-store visits driving showroom traffic and contributing to sales addition the Internet Specialist will be tasked with proactive lead generation using Automotive Mastermind and Star Loyalty tools to identify and engage potential customers.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to internet leads phone calls text messages and chat inquiries.
  • Follow up with prospects to schedule showroom appointments and confirm attendance.
  • Proactively generate sales and service opportunities through Automotive Mastermind and Star Loyalty platforms identifying high-potential customers for outreach.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions in the CRM.
  • Assist in long-term customer relationships through consistent follow-up & engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with sales managers and product specialists to ensure smooth customer handoffs.
  • Achieve daily weekly and monthly goals related to appointment setting lead generation and show rates.
  • Uphold Mercedes-Benz standards of luxury professionalism and service excellence.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous BDC call center or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Comfortable with phone text email and online chat communications.
  • Experience with lead generation platforms such as Automotive Mastermind and Star Loyalty is a strong plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced goal-oriented environment.
  • Professional demeanor with a positive and team-oriented attitude.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (DriveCentric VinSolutions DealerSocket or similar) is a plus.

Schedule:

  • This is a full-time position
  • Monday-Saturday from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
  • Off Sunday and one week day

Compensation:

  • Starting at $20 per hour plus bonus for appointment shown
