About the Program
Join us for a 12-week hands-on internship experience where youll gain real-world exposure to the construction industry while contributing to meaningful projects that drive impact Boyd Jones Construction. Our interns are not here to just observe youll collaborate with experienced professionals sharpen your skills and leave with tangible accomplishments to add to your resume.
What Youll Gain

Key Responsibilities
Innovate & Advance BIM Technologies
- Gain hands-on experience with BIM software including Revit AutoCAD and emerging platforms.
- Research current trends and recommend new technologies or process improvements.
- Help develop document and implement BIM standards and best practices.
- Support project teams with technology-driven solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Data Collection & Management
- Assist in creating and maintaining a structured data storage and management plan.
- Help extract and analyze historical project data for improved forecasting and estimating.
- Build and maintain a library of reusable BIM content.
- Develop tracking and analysis mechanisms for collected data.
3D / 4D / 5D Modeling
- Read and interpret 2D construction drawings and navigate 3D models.
- Gain exposure to 4D (time) and 5D (cost) modeling concepts.
- Support model updates and coordination activities.
What Were Looking For
- Current student pursuing a degree in Construction Management Engineering Architecture or related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work from multiple data sources.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter mindset with curiosity to learn new technologies.
- Rendering experience a plus.
