At Acelero Learning Delaware were transforming early childhood educationand strong leadership at every center is the key to our success. Were looking for a dedicated Center Director to lead the daily operations of one of our Head Start centers ensuring excellence in teaching learning family partnerships and staff support.
What Youll Do
As a Center Director you will:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the center ensuring compliance with Head Start Performance Standards state licensing and organizational policies.
Supervise coach and support teaching and support staff to foster high-quality learning environments.
Build strong relationships with families encouraging engagement and collaboration in their childs education.
Monitor classroom quality curriculum implementation and child outcomes to ensure school readiness.
Manage budgets staffing and resources to keep the center running smoothly and efficiently.
Foster a positive inclusive and mission-driven center culture for staff families and children.
Collaborate with regional and organizational leadership to ensure alignment with Aceleros mission and goals.
Who You Are
Were looking for someone who is:
A strong and inspiring leader with a passion for early childhood education.
Skilled at coaching developing and motivating staff.
Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Collaborative and relationship-driven able to partner with families staff and community stakeholders.
Reflective and growth-minded focused on continuous improvement.
Bilingual (Spanish-English) is a plus!
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with at least 6 courses in early childhood education and experience teaching preschool aged children. (Masters preferred).
Experience in early childhood program management or leadership required.
Supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams.
Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards and state licensing requirements preferred.
Pass a physical exam and background check.
Valid drivers license or reliable transportation required.
