Skilled Drainage Groundworker

Were looking for experts who can deliver excellence in drainage installation and external works with skills including:

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and documentation.

• Competent use and setup of trench boxes drag boxes and manhole boxes.

• Proficient in the use of pipe lasers for accurate drainage installation.

• Laying concrete clay and plastic pipes of all sizes ensuring correct bedding surrounds and testing.

• Groundwater management including selecting and setting up the right pump for the job.

• Correct trench backfilling and benching of manholes to high standards.

• Safe working around live services with strong service avoidance awareness.

• External works expertise including kerbs edgings slabs and block paving.

• Detailed knowledge of materials and products for underground drainage road construction kerbing and landscaping works.

• Carrying out daily plant safety inspections and maintenance checks.

• 5 years in skilled groundworks and drainage.

• Additional CPCS/NPORS* tickets (Telehandlers Dumpers Rollers).

• Experience leading or working within drainage gangs/teams.

• Reliability and punctuality.

• Ability to collaborate with other trades to support on-time project delivery.

• Eligibility to work in the UK.
