Job Description
Provides administrative support and works collaboratively with Physicians Advanced Practice Clinicians RNs LPNs and other department staff to meet the physical psychosocial education and spiritual needs of the patient and family.

Your role in action
Welcome prepare and room patients for visits.
Record medical histories vital signs and document care accurately in the medical record.
Collect laboratory specimens when needed.
Prepare exam rooms equipment and supplies for patient care.
Assist providers with physical exams minor procedures dressings sutures/staple removal splints or casts.
Maintain clean safe and well-stocked workspaces and equipment.
Answer patient calls and messages forwarding to the right team members.
Participate in staff meetings and quality improvement efforts.
What you bring to the table
Required: Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential.
Preferred: One year of experience in a clinical or practice setting.
Knowledge of medical terminology anatomy & physiology pharmacology infection control HIPAA and aseptic technique preferred.
Excellent communication adaptability critical thinking and teamwork skills.

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
