Sentara Medical Group has a unique opportunity fora Medical Assistant to join The Dedicated Care Center in Norfolk VA!
What makes the Dedicated Care Center unique We are Sentaras only concierge practice. We pride ourselves in being able to dedicate more time to spend with our patients by having smaller panel sizes. We offer weekday office hours (which means no weekends) potential for staff to earn monthly incentives and each staff member has their own personal office!
Location: Onsite
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM (1 hour lunch).
No nights weekends or holidays
No overtime
Overview
The Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training education and competency evaluations and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA) Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Education
- High School Diploma
- No specific education requirements
Certification/Licensure
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or
- EMT Basic Certification (EMT). (Required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
Experience
- Preferred to have someone with some experience in healthcare
Keywords: Talroo Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or EMT Basic Certification (EMT).
