International Laser Field Service Engineer

Were looking for a proactive and skilled Laser Service Engineer to support the delivery installation and maintenance of high-performance automated laser systems used in cutting-edge applications.
What Youll Be Doing
- Take a hands-on role in installing aligning and servicing advanced free-space laser systems both remotely and on-site at leading research institutions and industrial facilities worldwide.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues including hardware faults optical misalignments and software glitches using a mix of repair rework and preventive maintenance strategies.
- Perform root cause analysis to uncover underlying problems and implement long-term solutions.
- Collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to ensure fast effective service and outstanding user experiences.
- Keep detailed records of service activities including diagnostics repairs and system improvement recommendations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and suggesting design or process enhancements.
What Were Looking For
- A degree in Physics Engineering or a related technical field.
- Practical experience working with lasers or optical setups in lab or industrial environments.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electronic systems with hands-on skills in assembly and troubleshooting.
- Clear and confident communication skills in English both written and spoken.
- Familiarity with programming tools like LabVIEW Python or similar is a big plus.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
