AI Engineer (LLM)
A fast-growing technology company in the fintech and SaaS space is looking for a Senior AI Engineer (LLM) to join its team. The company builds scalable digital lending platforms that empower financial institutions to streamline business lending processes and efficiently deliver capital to small and medium-sized enterprises.
In this role you will design implement and optimize workflows that leverage large language models to automate processes enhance product features and drive innovation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable AI-driven solutions that integrate seamlessly into production environments.
Main responsibilities:
Design implement and optimize LLM-based workflows to automate and improve product functionality.
Leverage and adapt existing foundational models to align with business requirements.
Collaborate with product managers data scientists and engineers to integrate LLMs into scalable solutions.
Architect and implement interpreters agented systems and multi-hop RAG pipelines to coordinate knowledge responses.
Research new methodologies in the LLM space to continuously improve automation and performance.
Customize and fine-tune models for specific use cases.
Develop test and deploy LLM services in production environments.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
Ensure integrations are efficient secure and scalable according to industry best practices.
Key requirements:
Masters or PhD in Computer Science AI Machine Learning Physics or a related field.
5 years of experience in machine learning NLP or a related domain focusing on large language models.
Proven track record deploying foundational models in production.
Strong Python programming skills and experience with ML libraries and frameworks.
Hands-on experience deploying ML models at scale.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Problem-solving mindset with flexibility to adapt models and workflows to evolving needs.
Bonus points for:
MLOps experience and cloud deployment (AWS).
Knowledge of reinforcement learning and advanced NLP techniques.
