Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution of higher education
Applicable equivalencies may be considered on the above qualifications.
At least two years of instructional design experience
At least two years using creative software (e.g Adobe Creative Cloud TechSmith Articulate Rise or Storyline etc.)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word PowerPoint and Excel
Experience with business applications or ERP systems (e.g. Workday)
Preferred Qualifications:
Three or more years in instructional design
One or more learning and development certifications (e.g. APTD CPLP CPTD HCI SHRM Quality Matters etc.)
Experience developing compliance training related to institutional policies regulatory requirements and operational standards
Experience developing technical training for business applications and/or ERP systems (e.g. Workday)
Experience using project management software (e.g. Microsoft Planner Notion Wrike etc.)
Experience creating accessible standards-compliant web pages using HTML and CSS
Experience in building websites using CMS or WYSIWYG platforms (e.g. WordPress Weebly Wix SharePoint Squarespace etc.)
Graphic design experience with an understanding of visual design principles basic animation and visual storytelling
Background in higher education
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of adult learning principles
Knowledge of visual literacy visual rhetoric and information hierarchies
Knowledge of eLearning standards such as SCORM
Knowledge of institutional policies regulatory requirements and operational standards
Technical writing editing and proofreading skills
Audio and video scriptwriting production and editing skills
Strong presentation and facilitation skills
Front-end web development with a focus on HTML CSS accessibility and user experience
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to convert learning materials into accessible formats using section 508 and WCAG accessibility standards
Ability to interpret and translate compliance requirements into effective training content
Familiarity with policy and procedure documentation
Ability to troubleshoot and analyze technical issues in a training context
Ability to coordinate and manage projects of varying scope and duration
Ability to apply creative and critical thinking to solve complex problems
Ability to communicate clearly (oral and written)
Ability to collaborate effectively and maintain positive professional relationships
