Partner with the best
As a Coating Cell Operator youll be operating the coating booth applying thermal spray to complex gas turbine components. Using OEM drawings & specifications while maintaining safety as the top priority. Performs quality inspections throughout the coating process meeting all engineering requirements to maintain the highest quality standards.
As a Coating Cell Operator you will be responsible for:
- Having knowledge of coating operations coating equipment fixtures and parameters for the coating process for various gas turbine components
- Have the ability to prepare mask and grit blast components to the appropriate surface finish
- Have the ability to coat parts both via plasma and HVOF processes with various powders and properly collect all required samples
- Have the ability to run robotic programs and controls as required and program from scratch
- Having equipment knowledge to properly maintain the coating booth in top operating condition and possess good troubleshooting skills to quickly diagnose and resolve any issues
- Working closely with engineers repair technicians and machinists to apply the appropriate amount of coating to meet all requirements
- Operating forklifts cranes and other material-moving equipment
- Have the ability to perform various other assembly and repair duties in a turbine repair shop when the coating cell is not in use
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Have 5 years of coating experience
- Have experience with forklifts and other departmental equipment machines hand tools and power tools needed for assembly
- Have experience with coating equipment preferably gas turbine equipment
- Have in-depth knowledge of gas turbines

- 1 shift: M-F 6am-1:30pm
- 2nd Shift: M-F 2pm 10:30pm
