Your Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for a talented site reliability engineer to work in a cross functional team environment to deliver search services on our platform.
Configuration tuning and deployment of our search platform as well as search services on it operate search platforms safely to deliver the solution to our clients.
Tailor and tune search services according to its users requirements.
Trouble shooting and investigating issues on the search platform.
Continuously improve the operational workflow through automation.
Continuously monitor and maintain our services within their SLAs.
Act as a critical part of a multi-team effort to deliver manage and maintain configuration automation to meet user requirements.
Document design various processes geared toward continuously improving our services.
Experience and Qualifications
Minimum 5 years experience with Linux/Unix systems.
Good knowledge of system monitoring practice and tools.
Experience in at least one container orchestration solution e.g. K8s Mesos etc.
Good knowledge of CI/CD fundamentals (preferably in Jenkins)
Master at least one scripting language e.g. python bash etc.
Good understanding of networking.
Experience with data processing frameworks (e.g. Hadoop Spark etc.) is a plus.
