Role Summary
This role is crucial to the smooth running of the customer experience and will be accountable for providing a first class visitor experience every time. You will be responsible for responding to customer queries developing membership sales booking and upselling tickets for Rep productions and providing information about the Rep and the local area. You will be an ambassador for The Rep and represent the company mission vision and values in every customer interaction.
Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills experience working in ticketing and be able to use a range of computer application confidently and accurately. You will need a positive helpful attitude be able to assess situations to make appropriate decisions and be able to work evenings and weekends. Certifications in first aid and BSL are desirable.
Terms and Conditions
Period of Work: This is an ongoing fully flexible zero hours agreement. You will provide availability and be engaged by the business based on that availability as and when required. Hours of work for the department are scheduled on a monthly basis.
Pay: 12.60 per hour
Hours:Variable depending on the operational needs of the business. Hours may be scheduled on daytimes evenings and weekends. Overtime will be paid in line with BECTU/UK theatre agreement provisions which you can find more about here: The holiday year begins on 1st September each year. Your paid holiday entitlement is 5.6 working weeks per annum pro-rata. Your holiday pay will be calculated at 12.07% of your earnings. Holiday pay is paid in the month in which the hours are worked.
Notice Period:1 week
Location of Work:Your main place of work will be The Rep in Birmingham but you may be required to work permanently or temporarily at other locations locally.
