We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated team player with relevant planning qualifications to take up the position of Executive Planner within the City Planning Department. The position contributes to the effective development co-ordination and management of planning and infrastructure delivery projects that meet Councils Vision and Delivery Program objectives. This position also provides guidance both within and outside Council that reflects Councils aspirations and goals and responds to the issues and challenges which are important to the City.
You will be part of a planning team that value the free exchange of ideas and knowledge collaboration quality output and raising each other up.

Commencing salary: $116235.00 per annum plus 12% Superannuation.
Access to a Leaseback Vehicle or Motor Vehicle Allowance is available with this position; however it is not a condition of employment.
You will be required to undertake employment checks which may include a Criminal History Check Qualification Check Working with Children Check Medical Declaration and/or a Functional Test as relevant to the position for which you have applied. Where a Criminal History Check is required and has returned a result that indicates disclosable court outcomes you will be required to provide a copy of the report to Penrith City Council for review in order to progress through the recruitment process.

The City Planning department is responsible for coordinating long term planning for the City. We deliver a range of programs and services including the development of long term land use planning strategies and policies city planning regional planning and place-based planning projects.
