Job Title: Medical Scribe

Job Summary:
The part-time (0.4 FTE) Medical Scribe is responsible for the transcription of provider services along with accurate and complete record keeping in the patient medical record for each patient receiving services in the clinic. The Medical Office Scribe works to facilitate patient flow and ensures seamless delivery of care for each patient. This position will scribe for Dr. Adam Seidl.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepares and assembles medical record documentation results and charts for provider.
Accompanies provider into the patient examination room to accurately transcribe.
Patient history and physical exam.
Procedures and treatments performed by healthcare professionals including those performed by nurses and medical assistants.
Pend orders.
Patient education and explanation of risk and benefits.
Accurately documents the physicians encounter with the patient and others present.
Work Location:
Onsite this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Denver Highlands Ranch Englewood and Aurora CO.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
One (1) year of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position
A combination of related education and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to one (1) year
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with medical scribe duties
Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems especially EPIC.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.
Outstanding customer service skills.
Attention to detail
Demonstrated commitment and ability to advance diversity and inclusion.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE is pro-rated to a .4 FTE at $15178-$17606
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation depending on the level.
