About the role
Mater Private Hospital Townsville are seeking applications from Enrolled Nurses to join our team. The successful candidates will secure a position within our Casual Pool. To be eligible for our casual pool we require flexibility to work across various wards throughout our Pimlico and Hyde Park campuses. We are looking for nurses who can work 2-3 shifts a week including mornings afternoons and nights.
Salary range: $35.93 - $38.21per hour plus 12% Superannuation plus 25% casual loading andaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15900 access to many staff benefits!
What youll be doing
As a Casual Pool Enrolled Nurse you will provide high standard of patient centred nursing care. Enrolled Nurse core responsibilities are supporting patients in the activities of daily living assisting in meeting basic human needs and recognising the normal and abnormal assessment intervention and evaluation of patient health and functional status with ongoing communication with VMOs Allied Health professionals and team members within the unit.
About you
To be considered suitable for the EN Casual Talent communityyou will be:
- Current AHPRA registration (without restrictions)
- Minimum 12 monthspost graduate nursing
- Experience working within an acute hospital environment
- Flexibility to perform in various wards adaptability to seamlessly integrate into different teams and work under different NUMs
- Consistent availability to complete shifts at short notice
- Commitment to excellence in nursing practice and professional development
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
- Basic computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems
