(BWI) a member of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies is recruiting for Summer 2026 Associate Clinical Account Specialist (ACAS) Interns to be based either in Springfield MA or Albany NY. BWI is the global leader in the science of diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders. BWI is the #1 medical device company in electrophysiology (EP) and the first to develop a real-time 3D cardiac mapping and navigation technology as well as the first electrophysiology catheter. The introduction of the companys CARTO 3 System in 2009 revolutionized 3D mapping technology by increasing the accuracy speed and efficiency of the cardiac ablation procedure and we continue lead the market with our innovative technology.
BWI is recruiting rising seniors (students who expect to graduate in May 2027) for internships in our ACAS Internship Program.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The 2026 ACAS Internship Program will support various projects in the areas of:
- Simulated 3D Mapping of Cardia Arrythmias
- Biophysics of Ablation
- New Product Introduction and Education
- Therapy Advancement
- Clinical EP Lab Operations
A successful candidate will be able to do the following:
- Students must be able to provide their own transportation to Springfield MA/ Albany NY and to/from work every day. A housing stipend may be offered to students that meet distance eligibility requirements.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong leadership and a clear identifiable work ethos within their team.
- Candidates must adhere to safety and environmental policies and procedures and support department objectives.
- Candidates must demonstrate and maintain behavioral standards in line with company standards and policy.
- The anticipated base pay for this position is between 23$ per hour and 51.50$ per hour but will be based on candidates program year discipline degree and/or experience. This position is overtime eligible. Intern/Co-ops may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as medical insurance sick time holiday pay and the Companys consolidated retirement plan in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans. Housing stipend will be offered for those that qualify. This position is ineligible for severance. POSITION COMPONENTS:
Under supervision general direction and in accordance with all applicable federal state and local laws/regulations and corporate Johnson & Johnson procedures and guidelines the ACAS Intern will:
- Attend all portions of the ACAS Internship training program withoutexception.
- Engage in dialogue with multiple internal and external business partners and stakeholders andformulate solutions based on dialogue and input gained duringtraining.
- Understand the dynamics of an EP lab including but not limited to physicians nurses and technicians clinical and hospital administrators and staff.
- Drive collaboration and maintain consistent open lines of communication across the assigned responsibilitieswith the local team (i.e. intern field trainers teammates managers)
- Responsible for following all company guidelines related to health safety and environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in goodcondition.
- Responsible for adhering to company compliance with all federal state local and company regulations policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Actively pursuing at a minimum a Bachelor of Science Degree in:
- Biology Biochemistry Cardiac Function & Interventional Technology Chemistry: Polymers/Materials Science Computer Science Engineering: Aerospace Biomedical Computer Science Chemical Electrical Materials Science/Polymers Mechanical General Engineering Health Sciences Kinesiology Informatics and/or Data Science Pharmaceutical Science Physics Technical Design: Industrial Design/Product Design
- Biology Biochemistry Cardiac Function & Interventional Technology Chemistry: Polymers/Materials Science Computer Science Engineering: Aerospace Biomedical Computer Science Chemical Electrical Materials Science/Polymers Mechanical General Engineering Health Sciences Kinesiology Informatics and/or Data Science Pharmaceutical Science Physics Technical Design: Industrial Design/Product Design
- Detail-oriented skilled in communication and influencing others highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and assignments.
- Able to work well both individually and as part of a collaborative team.
- Enrollment (not necessarily taking classes) at an accredited college/university during the internship period is required.
- Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the internship period is required.
- A minimum G.P.A. of 3.0 is required.
- Demonstrated leadership and/or participation in campus/community service activities is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g. Word Excel PowerPoint etc.) is preferred.
- A valid drivers license issued in the United States and successfully complete a background investigationto include a review of driving recordhistory.
- Will be required to maintain advanced clinical knowledge of cardiac ablation and cardio imagingtechnical knowledge of EP technology advancements and the businesslandscape.
- The ability to travel related to this role is required. Must be willing and able to travel up to 40% overnight locally regionally andnationally.
