Job Description
The Vault Team Member is responsible for helping ensure that all secure products that are entered into or released from the Vault are provided to internal and external customers by following company policies and procedures. The Vault Clerk is also responsible for helping ensure that GD meets the service level agreements (SLA) by assisting the Warehouse and Logistics team as needed.
Job Specifications
- Issuance of secured materials directed by order tickets
- Provide quick and reliable service for internal and external customers
- Strong attention to detail
- Work and adhere to all corporate security policies and procedures
- Perform all data entry duties
- Enter transactions into SAP system accurately and at the time of physical movement
- Warehouse material on shelves or skids
- Utilize pallet jack pallet stacker or rolling ladder to move goods
- Escalate any business or safety concerns to Manager immediately
- Segregate materials by description
- Communicate with other departments as necessary
- Participate in the continuous improvement process
- Keep Vault area and work stations clean general housekeeping
- Other duties as assigned by Lead or Supervisor
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Strong basic math skills
- Ability to balance high attention to detail with quick and efficient pace
- Ability to multi-task organize and prioritize
- Previous working experience in a secure environment would be an asset
- Forklift operation experience be an asset
Working Conditions
Overtime including weekend overtime may be required
Fast paced manufacturing environment
Ability to communicate via phone and email
Company smock or uniform required
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Able to climb ladder
- Able to stand for long periods at a time
