Now is an exciting time for an experienced financial crime professional to join our this varied and engaging role you will support the MLRO in the execution of their oversight and reporting responsibilities across the Economic Crime portfolio.
The difference youll make:
Lead on the production of the annual MLRO Report and ongoing monitoring and reporting of MLRO recommendations.
Co-ordination and oversight of the Banks strategic financial crime change and transformation programmes.
Working collaboratively with Economic Crime teams across the Risk and Compliance function to co-ordinate and strengthen oversight efforts on key strategic and tactical financial crime initiatives.
What youll bring:
A financial crime subject matter expert with extensive experience working in an oversight role within a second line financial crime function.
Excellent report writing and written communication skills.
Outstanding knowledge and understanding of the UK Economic crime legal and regulatory framework.
An excellent understanding of project and programme management to support both second line oversight efforts.
It would also be nice for you to have:
Excellent analytical interpretation and communication skills.
The ability to effectively build relationships and positively influence stakeholders across the organisation.
Ability to see the bigger picture and to apply commerciality and judgement from a regulatory perspective.
Experience of working closely with UK regulators.
What else you need to know:
Our preferred location for this role is Milton Keynes but well also consider locating the role in Glasgow.
We want our people to thrive at work and home and also be able to deliver the best outcomes for our customers and to help each other develop. To support this we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).

Eligible for a discretionary performance-related annual bonus.
We put 8% of salary into your pension even if you dont contribute yourself. Well pay in up to 12.5% of salary if you contribute as well and you can take some of our contribution in cash if you prefer.
