Job Description
Responsibilities
The Safety Specialist in Doylestown PAsupports specific project needs by ensuring best practices are implemented safety compliance requirements are met and enhance a culture of safety.
Oversee day-to-day safety on commercial construction projects ensuring full OSHA compliance
Lead daily safety meetings and toolbox talks
Conduct jobsite audits inspections and hazard assessments
Investigate incidents and prepare accident reports with corrective actions
Verify proper use of PPE tools and equipment by all personnel
Inspect and monitor power tools heavy equipment and high-risk operations
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience
OSHA 30-Hour in Construction (required)
First Aid/CPR certification (required)
Strong working knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations
Hands-on experience in Fall Protection Scaffolding Steel Erection and Excavation safety
Excellent communication leadership and reporting skills
OSHA 500 certification and/or additional credentials (CHST CSP) a plus
