Job Description

This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAAs family of companies and will be employed by TIAAs preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW perform a variety of moderately complex business planning support and project-related an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results.

This role will sit onsite likely in a hybrid capacity at the location(s) listed in this posting.

The anticipated term of this engagement will be 3 months. This term could be extended based on company business needs.

CW-Intern II
The Intern gains experience and an overall feel for the company and the financial services industry by attending meetings delivering presentations exploring business-specific tasks and working closely with cross-functional groups to better understand the organization. Over the 10-week summer internship program this job participates in a robust training and onboarding program followed by an ongoing speaker series lunch-and-learns and cohort engagement activities. This job may have the opportunity to work in the follow business areas: Technology Asset Management Financial Analysis/Accounting Audit Risk and Compliance Human Resources and Advice and Client Relationships.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Performs clerical duties such as taking memos organizing documents maintaining files photocopying faxing etc. as needed
  • Assists in preparing information and research materials including Powerpoint presentations.
  • Takes notes during meetings and provides to team members.
  • Researches and gathers documentation as directed by colleagues.
  • Attends company functions including trainings programs speaker series lunch-and-learns and social networking events that provide opportunities for career growth and personal development.
  • Shadows multiple office jobs and trains in a variety of tasks.
  • Gains experience and an overall feel for the company and the financial services industry
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA required

The Intern-CW assists with recurring tasks across multiple areas of an organizations overall information technology (IT) infrastructure including analysis development and administration of IT systems software hardware and databases data processing operations end user technology. This job gains experience and an overall feel for the company and the financial services industry by attending meetings delivering presentations and exploring business-specific tasks to better understand the organization.

  • Handles information technology support requests and procedures across the enterprise network in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Assists with the configuration monitoring and maintenance of software applications to ensure the smooth running of information technology operations.
  • Performs clerical duties such as organizing documents maintaining files photocopying and faxing.
  • Assists in preparing information and research materials including Powerpoint presentations.
  • Takes notes during meetings and provides to team members.
  • Researches and gathers documentation as directed by colleagues.

Actual base salary may vary based upon but not limited to relevant experience time in role base salary of internal peers prior performance business sector and geographic location.
