Job Description

The Jenzabar Academic Trainerdesigns delivers and evaluates dynamic training programs that promote the effective use of the Jenzabar Student Information System (SIS) across both academic and administrative areas. By strengthening user proficiency in JICS J1 Desktop and J1 Web the trainer empowers faculty staff and students to streamline academic operations enhance student support services and ensure accurate institutional reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create schedule and lead engaging training sessionsboth in-person and virtualon JICS J1 Desktop and J1 Web for faculty staff and students.
  • Champion the Universitys migration from J1 Desktop to J1 Web by designing and executing training and adoption strategies.
  • Produce clear user-friendly documentation including user guides step-by-step tutorials FAQs and instructional videos.
  • Coordinate with IT the Registrars Office Academic Affairs and Student Development & Success to optimize system workflows particularly around academic advising and student data processes.
  • Collaborate with Academic Deans and Program Chairs to update and align curriculum trees in Jenzabar ensuring they accurately reflect degree and program requirements.

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Education Information Systems Instructional Design or a related field.
  • Experience with Jenzabar EX or Jenzabar One in a higher education environment.
  • Must be able to lift 10 pounds.
