Were not just about vehicles were about experiences and were proud of the team that makes them possible. Now were on the lookout for a Domestic Technician to join our Christchurch Airport branch and help us keep our fleet clean safe and road-trip ready.
What Youll Be Doing
As a Domestic Technician youll be the first point of care for our motorhomes and campervans once they return from a customer journey. Your primary purpose will be to complete minor repairs and ensure vehicles meet Travvias high presentation and safety standards.
Youll play a vital role in maintaining the customer experience ensuring our travellers begin and end their adventures with confidence and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform minor domestic repairs and maintenance on returned vehicles
- Ensure all work is completed to Travvias compliance and quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of completed work
- Assist with operational support across the branch
- Support mechanics where required
- Respond professionally to customer questions or concerns during drop-off
- Escalate unresolved issues or vehicle concerns to management
- Uphold a clean safe and well-organised work environment
- Comply with health and safety regulations at all times
What Were Looking For
- A good general knowledge of car mechanics
- A strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A valid NZ full drivers licence
- A proactive mindset and ability to work independently
- The ability to work rostered shifts including weekends
- Team player with a can-do attitude
- Previous experience in tourism automotive or customer-facing roles is a bonus
- Comfortable using email and basic computer systems
