Sales Development Representative MedTech Startup (1099 Role)
Locations: ideally Los Angeles CA but may be open to Chicago Boston or New York
We re looking for a high-energy motivated Sales Development Representative to join a fast-growing healthtech startup transforming surgical care with AI-powered solutions.
This is an exciting entry point into medical technology sales with uncapped earning potential and rapid career growth.
What You ll Do:
Prospect and identify new sales opportunities within Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) Oral Surgeons hospitals and specialty practices
Lead generation build relationships and book qualified meetings for senior sales reps
Confidently pitch and demo technology to clinical and administrative stakeholders
Collaborate with sales product and clinical teams to deliver customer insights and feedback
Develop your skills and grow into a full-cycle sales role with leadership opportunities
What We re Looking For:
Strong communication presentation and people skills
Outgoing personality and fearless approach to starting conversations
Quick learner who can pick up new technology and explain it clearly
1 year of sales technology preferred customer-facing experience preferred
Self-starter with high motivation and a competitive results-driven mindset
Willingness to travel up to 50%
Compensation & Growth:
1099 role with $40-50K base uncapped commission (target $90K) OTE $130k
